High Five Press is a creative card company, specializing in quality products that nurture the adult/child relationship. We design and produce unique postcards, note cards, greeting cards, and pop-up cards. We strive to put the rapport between child and adult on paper.

Our first line of cards, High Five Lunch Box Notes, Series 1, drew inspiration from a motivating list of parental and social needs, including:

• Parents striving to continuously “stay in touch” with their children.
• Grandparents, searching for new ways to connect with their grandchildren.
• Educators, Pediatricians, Counselors seeking fun and affordable ways to praise kids and communicate with clients.
• Adults seeking new ways to build a child’s self-esteem; to promote reading and reading readiness; and to combat adolescent issues such as bullying, peer pressure, and childhood obesity.

Throughout their growing up years, all children and teens face many challenges and tough decisions. Sometimes a note of support can be that little extra push or reminder that makes the difference!

Meet Lissa:

Lissa Ledbetter, the founder of High Five Press, recognized the growing need for fresh, convenient, fun forms of communication between adult and child. She holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication. Lissa’s resume includes everything from teaching in elementary schools nationwide, to serving as a freelance production and design assistant at Nike, Inc. Her broad experiences and background have taught her to appreciate the needs of children and adults alike.
